Look, I'm not expecting the author to stick strictly to Ye Olde English, but for god's sake, hearing Ser fucking Lancelot say things like: "Little shits grow up to become big shits," and "You were fucking brilliant!" is kind of cringe. I know Merlin said it's magic that makes it possible for Vera to understand everyone and vice versa, but seriously?

She sits there and doesn't tell Haley "Hey, the guy you just hooked up with absolutely trashed you in today's paper" and was all "oh don't get mad, this is what he does" when she saw it (AND thought about snatching the paper from her before she could read it), but now Haley's upset and she suddenly feels bad? "Sisterhood", my ass.

? Why isn't Haley the narrator of this book?

It's really hard to believe that Pixie is eighteen, she talks and acts like an eight-year-old.

I would enjoy this book a lot more if it was only about Nikki.
