This is an amazing compendium. The lojong (mind training) tradition was once taught only in secret but now we have every conceivable dimension of the practice explored and expounded in a single collection. Some of these teachings are famous, and there are some lesser known ones that knock my socks off.

I’ve read and re-read this a few times now. These are unusual and very helpful practice instructions for meditators. They were originally delivered at a time of catastrophic social upheaval not unlike our own. Thrangu Rinpoche’s elucidation based on his own experience working with these instructions is very clear, detailed and encouraging.
