I find very disturbing that these boys want to kill and rob someone just because they read it in a few books. I think that Huckleberry Finn is doing this because he wants to be liked by his friends and not to be seen as a loser.

I think that the nurses and doctors were just in awe when they saw Colton being a normal child after all that had happen to him. What does the author mean when he says " those words sounded like an oasis in a desert of exhaustion."

I really like how Huckleberry Finn knows that he is in a story. Why did the robbers leave the gold?

I like how the father tries to keep his son calm while on this trip to the south. I can picture the world they live in because in the test it says that it is gray and that there is no sunlight.

I feel really mad at the old doctors because they ruled out a burst appendix but Colton had that. I think Colton did die because he said that he almost died but no on told him that.

I really like how they describe the post apocalypse world that they live in. I can compare how the father watches over his son in the time of desperation to people who live in a war zone and parents have to watch over their children so that they can be safe and protected.

I feel very sorry for Todd and his wife because they already lost on one child they do not need to loss another. I picture what Todd and Sonja might look like when they take Colton to the Great Plains Regional Medical Center.

I feel horrible about what Todd and his son Colton are going through and no human should have to suffer this much as they do. I can relate to when Colton faced his fear of the spider when I faced my fear of height by going on a high ride at an amusement park. I can create a mental image of what Colton looks like when his dad describes how someone looks when they are about to die.

I like how Colton's father says that even when he was in pain he realized that Jesus suffered more. I think Colton's dad will suffer more because he says "that would be only the first domino to fall".

I like how the father details about his two children and what they are like. Why does the author mean when he says the Colton is like any other boy?

I like how they see another girl with Carrie's power telling the audience to watch out. What would happen if Carrie was treated nice.

I feel scared and sad that Sue had to hold Carrie in the road mind talking to her. I picture what Carrie's appearance looks like from the information in text. I can now conclude that people want to kill anyone with the TK gene because they do not want a repeat of the last time it go out.

I do not know how to fell for Carrie. On one hand I fell good that she stood up for her self but on the other hand she did not do it in a moral way. Why does the author keep it a secret about Carrie's power?

I like how they show what is happening at he time of the fire and after the fire at the court house. I can now conclude that Sue was not at the dance because she said that she stayed home.

I was happy that Sue was not at the prom because she was the only nice one to Carrie and I would hate for her to die. I already knew that something bad happened at the prom when they previously talked about it so I knew that the prom night would end in terror.

I really like how Carrie is starting to stand up for her self and from her overbearing mother. She is showing signs of a growing character. I can compare Carrie standing up from her mother when I stood up for myself when I was being bullied.

I can start to see that Sue is starting to feel remorse for what she did to Carrie. I can also tell that Carrie is starting to stand up to here mother. Why does Sue feel so bad about what she did to Carrie?

I can see that the book has some foreshadowing events that will happen later on. I can conclude that the reason why Sue hates Carrie is because Carrie and her mom keep telling her and the people in her school that they are going to hell.

I really hate Chris, she is a spoiled brat who gets away with anything. I can relate the text "we will cross-file against your daughter on those same grounds for Carrie White" to any one who has been physically and emotionally abused.

I really did not like how her mom told her that it was a sin to do something that she herself had no control of. I pictured what Carrie's momma might look like about her saying that she is very muscular and she dresses in black.

I feel really bad for Carrie. She gets bullied all the time by everyone. Why does everyone hate her so much?

I really liked how the crew starts to talk of mutiny from their time on the sea. I can use the images in the story to better understand the fear Jim is felling from being hunted by the crew.

I am really confused on why anyone with the square piece of paper hears a tapping sound then faints. I can compare the text " Door with the doors" when the pirates break into the inn with when people get robbed for their money and hurt when they try to stop the robbers in the real world.

I thought Jim was not very smart when Black Dog came in and asked for the captain even though the Captain told him to look out for a man with one leg. I used the images to help me better understand the fear and confusion that Jim is having with the mystery man and his one leg.

I thought that that book gave more character to the characters in the story then from the movie and it does not put in the "It was all a dream" cliché but puts Dorothy outside of her family's house.

I really liked how the flying monkeys had a backstory to how they obeyed to the wicked witch. I also like why the wicked witch could not touch water. Why does the wicked witch not like the dark.

I like how the witch of the west had more help from more of her helpers or slaves. I also enjoyed how Dorothy and her friends had to go in the room with Oz one by one. I can picture what Oz looks like when he said the he was the great and terrible and when he change forms.

I like that they added more enemies for the 4 of them to face off. Many of the monsters are not said in the movie and I really like how and why they added them in. When the lion was fighting the Kaldahs when he was scared this reminded me of when I was afraid but I fought on anyway.

I like how they explained why the tin man doesn't have a heart. I also liked how they gave him a backstory. Why does the lion not have courage.
