I’m glad I’m sticking with the book. I was not so sure in the beginning, but I’ve become attached to the characters and to the story. It’s definitely history from a different perspective. It’s not sad or happy, it just is. But, when I consider the lives led by so many during this time period, I feel remorse and sadness. Gone With the Wind simply did not give the whole story.
