I love her voice and her sentence construction. Such a great use of language.

This book is good, but it feels too long. Pacing issue, maybe?

This book feels weird; there is no feeling, no emotion. For example, all through his hospitalization Brent resists talking to the different therapists assigned to work with him. He’s rude and non-communicative every time. But the reader never understands WHY. The author doesn’t reveal any reason WHY he doesn’t want to talk to the therapists, only the machinations he goes through to avoid doing so.

Feels a little soulless. Raw description with little emotion behind it.
