Virginia goes to a doctor because her mom is concerned about her weight. After the appointment, Her dad tells her maybe if she loses 20-30 pounds, she'll look prettier.

Virginia's brother and her mom are going to events but Virginia mom never invites her so she wonders if its because of her weight. Later in the chapter, Virginia mom tells her she has a new doctor because of her diet.

Virginia is at school but her best friend moved away so she eats lunch in the bathroom stall. While she's in the bathroom, three popular girls come in and talk about Virginia. They talk about how she's fat and if they were her they'd kill them self. They also talk about how hot her brother Byron is.

Her sister gives her the typical run down about boys only wanting one thing but Virginia thinks she's too "fat" to even do things with a boy.

The boy Virginia got scared to french kiss the boy and reminded him of his trombone practice so he could leave. Next month, her sister came back from college and wants to have the sex education talk with her.

A girl named Virginia is wanting to have her first French kiss but the boy keeps leaving her because of band practice.

My favorite character is Christine because she wants to help the foreigners.

My book got its title by foreigners being kidnapped.
