It’s a very quick read and I’m enjoying it. Her interactions with the locals in Finland and Lapland remind me of encounters I’ve had in the Baltics.

Enjoying this autobiography so far. Justice Thomas has been so unfairly maligned over the years. Critics and admirers alike would benefit from reading this.

Found this in an antique store on Hudson, Wisconsin's old Main Street, right next to the river. It's the humorous memoir of a Russian immigrant's adventurous in his adopted America. The stories are hilarious, as is the way his wife captured his manner of speaking — complete with grammatical slips that almost convey his accent. Probably out of print but worth reading if you can find it.

Slowly making my way through this. I haven't been doing much recreational reading in the last few months, unfortunately. It's a good story and I like the drawings and hand-written parts, but the tone of the narrator (Death) loses me sometimes.

I'm a sucker for books narrated by Death (Neil Gaiman is to blame).
