this is definitely one of the books that i need to keep in my library and reread from time to time. Great practical advise on making improvement to be successful.

I'm only a quarter of the way into this book but the sections on Andrew Jackson was eye opening. What was done to the Indians (native Americans) is disgraceful.

I was also shocked to learn that poor whites from England were rounded up and send to the USA and were placed into servitude.

Steinbeck is, now, one of my favorite writer. I can't get over the way that he describes the world around us.
