Interesting read. Slow, as there is much to think about as you go.

I can't say that I'm enjoying this book, but it really isn't meant to be enjoyed. The stories are heartbreaking. They're only too real. Some are disturbing, some are incredibly uplifting. And that is precisely why this book needs to be read.

The voice is great. Definitely Silver's. Unfortunately, Silver likes to ramble - a lot. And he repeats himself more than he really should. An abridged version would likely score higher.
