This woman is just too gullible to be believed.

Interesting premise, but unless something shocking happens, incredibly predictable. And the lack of critical thinking from the main character…ugh.

I don’t know that I can finish. Even on audio, while I’m working…

I thought I was done with COHO but this showed up in my holds at the library from many months ago. We’ll see, but I’m not hopeful. I just don’t get the appeal.

I need more of my holds to be ready, I’ve moved on to the “audiobooks available now!” section of the library app.

I thought I’d read historical fiction covering almost all aspects and settings of WWII, but I’m realizing I know very little about what was happening in Italy.

This book is quite long.

The dramatic music and sound effects in the audiobook are just too much.

New narrator. People suddenly have southern accents. Why?!

If this is as terrible as the first two, I won’t keep reading. Or will I?

Ugh. Why am I still reading this?! Ridiculous. But also now I need to know how this nonsense is going to wrap up.

Didn't read the summary at all, it was available from the library and woah! The main character is Cecily.

This is not a fun beach read, these people are the worst.

When did I put this on my holds shelf?

Wasn’t planning on reading when I read that the plot turned out to be as problematic as some of her comments, but forgot I had put it on hold at the library. Showed up on my audiobook shelf this week, and since I didn’t purchase it, I’m going to read for myself.
So far it’s just long. And mildly confusing.

Continuation of the fluff. I got sucked in to the nonsense.

Needed some fluff to turn my brain off. So far so good.
