I love Naomi Novik. She’s creative and I enjoy reading a FMC who’s spunky and has strength of character… but all her FMCs are essentially the same. They’re all good so I don’t mind as much, and again, every story is SO well done and she’s excellent at building worlds, but her MCs feel essentially interchangeable.
