Jackie is 41% done with The Beekeeper: Rescuing the Stolen Women of Iraq

I am having a difficult time reading through this book. Although I get that the author really wanted to make sure that the mini-biographies she wrote were in the words of those individuals, I feel the book could have been structured in such a way to keep the readers attention. It's basically a dictation of conversations.

I am truly having a difficult time getting into this book. I don't know if it's the simple plot line or the characters, but there really hasn't been much action as of yet. I'm hoping the story get more exciting...but I've got to force myself to pick up the book again first...
