Very thought provoking. I really love how even now you can relate to so much of his first few pages. He was obviously very wise and I am excited to continue to read what he has written.

I felt like I was sucked into this time period, learning about what it takes to make a name for yourself surrounded by so much competition and new growth. I also learned a lot about Britney and her background, starting to understand a bit about the foundation for her and her future life.

To think of the trauma he went through, from the death of his mom's "savior" to that poor 6 year old boy who found himself at the bottom of the school bus, I wonder how he was able to function at all with all this grief and not even tell a soul. Makes me think about my own trauma and hurt and it causes me to reflect on the way I express myself accordingly.

Book is great. Started off with his childhood, and the relentless beatings him and his mom faced at the hands of his father. Speaks a lot about where his future endurance and will to strive and win came from.
