The story line a little odd for Beverly. I like the characters not too much of a fan of what she has to do/endure to get what she wants. But I guess that’s the point!? Reading on till the end though

Almost at 50% and I don’t love the characters? There is something askew with the flow of the story can’t quite figure it out . Maybe it’s a right book wrong time, but I’m really struggling to finish. So for I will DNF, and maybe come back :(
