Title: Monday, September 22: Bill quits.

One of the best and most relatable sections in the chapter. What a power ,move right there.
Extremely captivating.

Bill leaves Steve, who apparently manages to micro-manage everything only to then blame his task force when things go down the drain. Way to go big man.

I like the practicality when it comes to handling data. I'm still keen on merging this with practical statistics and a little bit of modelling to put math and code together.

Pairs beautifully with Naked Statistics. 50 pages in and loving it so far. It excels in explaining math without the ' you must already have learnt this '

So far, ak good. I really like he's introduction to some fundamental concepts of statistics; not taking a deep dive right into complexity but giving a reason why and adding context before.

I thought I would read new books this year. I have found myself doing rather the opposite - re-reading the great pieces I had last year. What dimes I have found.

I keep pausing and coming back to Rollo. He's insights on what the media and society portray today are spot on. I cannot help but notice my indulgence with some of the AFC behaviour in my prior days. Suffice it to say, combining this with actual data research pairs beautifully. Onto the next chapter. Let me learn what conditioning I need to understand.

Okay. I love the approach the book has taken. Reading nonfiction with a touch of a story makes it all the more. I like the sly anecdotes like

' A falcon ( the rarest of them all) flew past them above the air. '

I saw what you did there. I saw the context

So I had my doubts at first. However, I've really really loved this book so far. It shows me more than just code that goes into production. Culture, management and the in betweens. I'm still going through.
