Since I’m feeling critical I just wanted to note that one of the reviewers was disappointed the book was about several pragmatic philosophers and not pragmatism itself. I’m not sure how else he imagines you can talk about about a philosophical movement

I think I read a review of this that said the poetic analysis is too simple for Taylor's caliber - I can only say that I must be a simple man, for this book has struck me at my core
