To Marry Is Madness (Supposed Scandal, #3)
I really hated the protagonist from almost the first words of the book.

Pain, Perplexity, and Promotion: A Prophetic Interpretation of the Book of Job
Jumps to conclusions I don't think warranted, jobs kids weren't necessarily bad partiers, his wife didn't necessarily become barren, and Michal didn't necessarily choose to marry someone other than David. I think it's more likely she was forced to.

The Bequest (The Birch Creek Ranch, #1)
So I don’t really like any of guys in this books, except maybe one of the dead ones. But I like the sister in laws’ relationship. The guys haven’t annoyed me enough to drop the book though, so there’s that.

Corrupted (Rosato & DiNunzio, #3)
I don’t see the appeal of the male lead in this book. Mostly he’s 1) not a monster and 2) good looking …. That’s about all there is. I don’t see how he could have earned the one of that got away life altering love status with that in maybe weeks, if even that? I find their relationship unrealistic and terribly irresponsible to not just wait less than a month to start dating when they met weeks ago.

Passion and Purity: Learning to Bring Your Love Life Under Christ's Control
I feel like sometimes she oversteps in making her preference for how to run a relationship as the Biblical principle for all relationships.

Passion and Purity: Learning to Bring Your Love Life Under Christ's Control
Hmm I think parts of this book are a bit dated. I’m not sure I think women shouldn’t ask out a guy is a valid interpretation of marital submission.

Voice of Power (The Spoken Mage, #1)
Because who wouldn’t love a belligerently stupid protagonist and why wouldn’t a prince fall in love with a really stupid girl who keeps sassing him and creating huge political problems he has to solve.

Sort of meh Christian fiction… it falls prey to most of the issues with its various genres (chiclet and Christian fic) but not as bad,y as some…

How Rory Thorne Destroyed the Multiverse (The Thorne Chronicles, #1)
Clearly a talented writer, lots to love in the premise and execution… worried it’s going to be too political which bores me

A Daily Rate
I quite liked this book. My only criticism is I didn’t really feel the couples’ chemistry. Their relationship was entirely undeveloped in my opinion. I was just sort of shocked when they suddenly were a couple and frankly probably would have been fine with the book if there had never been a main couple.

This book is a very modern day politically correct book about world war time.

Hook, Line and Blinker (Miss Fortune Mystery, #10)
Still dislike make lead. Basically from day 1 till now I think the protagonist should be suing him for harassment instead of dating him. Nothjng he’s done has changed my mind about that. Keep in mind I tend to actually like patriarchal societies more than the average girl and I still feel this way. To me Carter is one more guy that gives women a reason to hate patriarchy.

Such a promising beginning. I loves the cats... Sadly as it’s continuing I think I hate the 2 human leads.

Unmarriageable
This book is quite charming, though not suitable for children. I particularly like seeing a little of what a form of cultural Islam is like.

I liked the beginning and gradually grew to strongly dislike the female protagonist and utterly hate the romance.

A Nefarious Engagement (Beatrice Hyde-Clare Mysteries, #4)
A little too narcissistic with the feminism themes and not as fun since the male and female leads aren’t together most of the book so you don’t get to hear them banter. Also some protagonist stupidity in her detective work that leads to totally unnecessary angst.

Pride v. Prejudice (Claire Malloy, #20)
So I’m enjoying that the author has hmmm more refined diction than a lot of mystery authors, but It irritates me how she seems to view rural townspeople and their way of life with contempt. It’s not that their aren’t ridiculous rednecks, but there are a lot of wonderful sensible ones too. She just seems to despise everything about rural community.

Ten Beach Road (Ten Beach Road, #1)
...because when you’re so broke you can’t afford a motel to sleep in, you decide that among your food essentials is a case of wine and at least 1 bottle of good wine... oh and you go buy yourself new clothes to do handy work in,.... granted I have to admit his might be how formerly rich people think how living cheaply is done.
