As an African living in a country that is run through by the equator I'm absolutely horrified by the thought that the people advocating for geo-engineering and solar radiation management are willing to sacrifice equatorial areas to famine and drought while the West and Europe (who are largely responsible for global warming) remain comfortable and not affected....


This makes my blood boil...

1)So literally most major environmental groups and foundations are sleeping with the enemy,
2.) fossil fuel nibbaz are politically untouchable,
3.) carbon trading is the funniest joke I've heard this year and
4.) major efforts to switch to renewables are being blocked by trade and energy policies and laws....

Safe to say humanity is screwed...

Capitalism is a snake that is eating itself...
