Ismail is 6% done with Holy Bible: English Standard Version (ESV)

I'm on the book of Job right now.
It's been so long since I read poetry, I didn't know that the bible would be my re-entry into the world of poems but it's lovely, the poetic devices are very unusual and cool. But the most annoying part is that it's a translation, and poems lose so much of their flavour once translated. I really wish I knew all the languages so I could read without ever needing a translation :/

I've finished reading the book of genesis, and this is only the first of the 66 books that is- the bible. This was so fun, loved the story of Joseph. There's some crazy ass mfs in this book damn. Religion looked so different when these stories were written and shared.
