reading this book enrages me so much, basically f**k capitalism and complicit governments, corporations and financial institutions

it’s giving romcom vibes of “The People we meet on vacation”; “Love, Rosie”, or “The Map that leads to you”

so far very well written book on jazz for beginners like me!!

and i like most of the song recommendations the author is suggesting to listen as “the homework”

i am getting more into this book with every page!

Sandy’s and Gaunt “friendship” seemed one-of-a-kind, and I am wondering also how things will go with Elwood

(i really hope for at least some bittersweet ending and not totally tragic)
