Forgot how good and upsetting this book is

I understand the point of dramatic irony. But I am frothing at the mouth

We have confirmation on one obvious theory. But there’s two characters I don’t trust and I want them out of here.

I need something impressive to happen in this last quarter

I am confliiiiiiicted about if i am really enjoying this, haha.

One day I will have to read The Faerie Queene and truly get into all of that stuff because I eat this up. Also, second Ys mention in a week.

Also, it did take me a big longer to buy into this book than The Bear and the Nightingale, i think it’s because I know this period better, it didn’t feel immediately fantastical. But we are in it now!

I may be about to start another long ass book that is not on my ‘official’ tbr. Ughhh i wish I wasn’t so flighty.

Why can’t the other books I’m in the middle of possess this quality that makes me unable to put them down? Anyway, knew she wasn’t dead, no way that would happen off page. Also, crazy that he thinks he’s in love. Bro be so for real.

This is the first tad williams book I’ve read, and i know he has a ton of other books, but I’m pretty sure this isn’t like any of them. So I’m worried I’ll be disappointed if I read his other series after this.

Depressing ass start and i feel like it’s going to come back around.

Finishing a book just feels impossible, i keep starting new ones. I’m not sure if i could possible read all of the books i want to.
