3.5 stars. This is exactly the right book. It’s not comfortable. Sometimes it’s downright hard to read. It should be hard - It had to be to do what it set out to do.

This is going to be painful. I’m counting on Tom - and Tony - to make the pain worthwhile. It is a foregone conclusion that it will be, much like “knowing” Tony was worth the pain of losing him.
(By “knowing” Tony, I mean knowing of Tony. They felt like one and the same to me, and to so many of his fans.)
