Love how it’s building up to this confluence of small incidents which blows out of proportion. And the description of things are good and visual, like examining an idea like looking over teeth.

I think the reveal of information in the past helps the reader inform their opinion on what is happening in the present. Everyone you learn about a new character, you think they could have been the killer.

Really like how it starts. Like being inside the head of Libby and get her thought. The movement in and out of first person is done well too. Really into it.

Just trying to finish it, had lost a lot of the luster which captured my attention in the first book.

Really love the writing and syntax. So elegantly composed.

I think as the stories converge I am liking it a bit more, but still feels like a bit of a slog to get through.

Started this a bit ago, took a bit for me to get into it but now I’m hooked. It’s easy to read, and playful so far. And back and forth nature of one upping another is entertaining in each of the different “threads”.

Picked up after a break from it, still very very good

Off to slow start, while I like the worldbuilding, it is a decision to have 2 of the 3 characters storylines start before the end of the last book.

Been slowly reading, haven’t updated in a while. Pretty good, I like the forensic and procedural approach to the story. An interesting contrast to the pastoral prose of Annihilation.

Conspiracy narrative goes hard

Really like how this is getting into the territory of religion, the concept of deep structure, and language all while being applicable to this fabled virus.

I was surprised by the pizza delivery start, but really liking the direction and working

Really good, like how it will skip forward and let you guess at what happens. Wish I knew more about what happened to the world by this point tho.
