I listened to this book narrated by Patchett herself. It felt as if I were having a series of enjoyable visits with her.

A so-so entry in this series. The group of possible suspects are never developed as characters. It was impossible to imagine what they might or might not do because we never get a chance to know them. There is one particular plot development at the end that just comes out of left field. And of course the never-ending attraction between Ruth and Nelson has become tiresome. I guess I’m done with this series.
