I didn't do a reread of the other books first, and I remember Spensa being impulsive in the first book, but... was she as much of an idiot then?

So I'm a bit over 15 hours into listening to this book, but I'm going to put it on hold until after I've finished Sorcery Reborn. I can only take so much or Corin's introspective whining. I enjoy the world and system, but I'd like a less whiny protagonist more.

Boring, the pacing seems incredibly slow. I've listened to 15 hours and am still waiting for something interesting to happen.
