I am at a point in this one where I only have Engels’ Condition of the Working Class in England, Marx’s short translation of Peuchet, a fragment of Fourier, and a few short articles by Engels.

St. Thomas? Check. Stewardship concept of property? Check. Guild system? Check. Class peace? Check. A moral problem with laissez-faire that seeks to cause that class peace and overcome the bad of capitalism but somehow maintain its relations? Check. Saint-Simon, Fourier, Blanc, and Proudhon? Check, check, check, and check.
I may have found an indisputable gem.

LaMarx is on page 20 of 79 of Eastern and Western cultures: confrontation or conciliation (Asian philosophical studies)
It’s interesting to see a man who was a Chinese fascist praise the US and the UN, but criticize them for recognizing the PRC. He adopts Orientalist tropes about China (sinification of outsiders as a rule, going so far as to single out Kaifeng Jews as assimilated, reproducing tropes about the integratability of Jews generally) and positions overseas Chinese as model minorities. He maintains the mythology of Chiang.

I’ve never read Bukharin’s book on imperialism before. It’s so good.
