Not what I expected but ok so far.

I was reading the first 3 episodes not just book 1... And now I'm done. I stuck it out and I think the writing got better as the story evolved. Interested to see how Jace will explain away some of the similarities to other books in future episodes. Despite myself, I quite enjoyed it and read it quickly. Good descriptive language & scene setting.

Spelling & continuity errors, flat dialogue, thin character profiles, cringy cliches & a mentally unstable narrative, yet I'm still reading. The premise is ok. I'd probably really like this book after it had gone a few tough rounds with a ruthless editor. Normally I'd have given up after the first few pages but there is enough going on to keep me interested. It definitely has potential & I'll try to see it through.
