Falling in love with the southern continent!

Loving the story so far. Chaol has developed so much since book 1. So has SJM’s writing and prose. A pleasure to witness through this series.

Delightful and easy read so far! Feels like Downton Abbey with a twist.

Events transpire so quickly, it’s almost jarring with the change-ups

Not sure how to feel yet. I’m really intrigued by the unique world. Love the parchment larks. However, it feels very much like it’s trying to mimic Throne of Glass. The writing is sometimes a little bit too dramatic and lacking emotional substance to support it. Particularly with the character death early on. I’m hopeful though.

Enjoying the read so far, but getting a little difficult to follow the timeline jumping

Jodi Picoult is such an exceptional writer. Her work just pulls you in from the start. So refreshing to be reading such good prose again.

Happy to be back in the world of Camp Half-blood!

I really feel like I’m losing the plot here. A few blurbs about a weapon, but beyond that?

I’m getting a bit lost in the ambling thoughts of the narrator. Not quite sure yet where the plot is heading.
