I pushed through and enjoyed the book much more last night.

I’d like to see this book through, but I’m finding myself getting bored. Really interesting concept but I’m not feeling the characters.

Got this one for free on Kindle. I'm enjoying some aspects of the writing style and not others. The beginning was strong, but the main characters is a bit of an annoying grump, and the prose is heavy with similes. Also, how does a university archeology professor afford such expensive name brand clothing? Mari's shoes cost more than the detectives last paycheck??

Very good so far. Hard to keep track of who's who. I'm enjoying Travis Perry's story thread the most.
