Honestly, this is hilarious. I’m having a great time.

Ok ok I know that Percy blows up the volcano (Mt.St Helen’s???) at the end of this one but everything before then is a blur, except I know there’s a laptop involved and that we meet Mrs.O’Leary!!!

I genuinely don’t remember this book at all… here we go.

I’m really enjoying this, and I dont remember enjoying the original trilogy that much so either her writing has improved or her subtle political intrigue is more interesting as an adult. Also the deaths are just, if not more brutal at 28 than at 14.

This feels like a transitional book, especially considering how much momentum the last book had. Hard to believe the next book will be the last.

I literally restarted this book I love it so much and so much happens.

I cannot be stopped

So the chaos continues… this story is a snowball running down the hill towards the ending and I’m just hanging on for dear life at this point.

This might be the best one, also thr most unhinged. Which is really saying something.

I am just stumbling through this book I don’t understand whats going on except that Karigan really REALLY needs a fucking break… just want to finish with this book and move on to the next one.

This feels like a complete departure from the whole series and I’m not sure I understand the purpose unless Karigan comes back to her time from the future and stops everything from happening… which means they win and the series ends, which obviously it doesnt…

So many people hate this one… so far I’m just as confused as Karigan is to be suddenly thrust into the future where they lost the war… I guess we’ll see.

Shit is about to get so real… I’m scared of the Blackveil. Britain does a great job keeping things ambiguous with great pacing once again. Breezed to the half way mark and I know it’s going to be a wild ride the rest of the way.

Karigan needs a fucking vacation

Not at all what I was expecting. Obama’s narrative voice is reflective, but concise with a pace and sense of humour that settles you into the moment.

This is just as good; there has been no let up on pace. Karigan is a queen and master swordswoman. Introduction of the larger Second Empire villain feels very big, especially since there’s a lost way of harnessing wild magic that the author alludes to but doesn’t address. Basically shit is gonna get real messy before the Sacoridians figure out that they’re poorly equipped to handle whats coming.

The pacing is so good and you really get a sense of the characters, even the supporting ones and their roles in it all. You almost know who the main character is through those actors, which I think is a sign of a good storyteller. I heard this series doesnt stay very good so I’m gonna enjoy it while I can.
