Stopping for now since I have kept this library book long enough. Marked the following poems from Felicity: I Wake Close to Morning, Whistling Swans, For Tom Sjaw S.S.J.E. (1945-2014), That Little Beast, I Have Just Said. From Dog Songs: The Poetry Teacher. From A Thousand Mornings: The Poet Compares Human Nature to the Ocean From Which We Came. From Swan: How I Go to the Woods. And from Evidence: It Was Early.

Great book so far! Lots to think about. Wish I realized sooner in reading that there were notes in the back (aside, not sure what formatting style doesn't have footnotes noted at all in the text itself, but I am not a fan). Just finished the chapter on Galveston and Juneteenth. Reading a library book so I need to return now so next person on list can read it. Plan on re-reserving so I can finish.

Started back in February. Haven't picked up in a while. Logging where I left it in case I pick it up again.

Just can't do this one right now. I am sure that Dave Eggers had a great time writing it, but I need a few more years after #45 is done before I attempt again. Just too close.

Only reason I can't give it 5 stars is that there were times, when moving between the 4 main protagonists, that it felt a little disjointed and could have used a tighter edit. Otherwise, I enjoyed getting to know Zel, Amari, Inan, and Tzain. Will be curious to see who is cast and how long it will take for a movie to come out.

Picked this up after watching the film "Won't You Be My Neighbor?" and wanting to know more about this surprising and inspiring man. Need to pass it on to the next person on the list (library book), but will be picking up again to finish soon.

Needed something quick and completely different after my last read. My 9 year old niece asked me if I read this. Reading it so we can talk about it next time we chat.

Enjoying this, but realize it is better to pick up and put down in between the different "conversations". Putting down for now, but plan on picking up again soon!
