Started out long like a podcasts.
Now into the second book, The Bodies. Liking this part much more.

Is on Netflix. Will have to look for it.

Part of my November, read a book with neurodivergent character. Enid, a quirky, neurodivergent lesbian who works at a space agency, uses space facts as a communication tool with her depressed mom, and navigates phobias (especially of bald men) while trying to connect with her half-sisters, highlighting themes of trauma, difference, and connection through her unique perspective and interests in space and true crime.

NOT what I expected.
Read as September Reading challenge with Kahra, read a HS book.
Never read in HS.
Excited to see the exhibit at the MIA.

Nicks neighbor, Gatsby is full of life and parties.
Loves Daisy, could never marry her.

Tells the American Dream- and money along with the desire for more
can get you anything imaginable.
but also has deep regrets- and never able to find true happiness.

LOVING this book. So much.
Is the MIA October book Club challenge.
Every daughter- mother- sister- wife- NEEDS to read this book.

What an excellent idea to call your own story.
Set in St. Paul, where he resided. His mom, Molly. Daughter, Frances or ScottieNow is deep below ground in a humid- sensitive room protected by fingerprints. I wonder if they give tours to the curious.

Got this book when we were in The Little Mermaid. Then we quit.

Catholics are rigid, alcoholics are bad, educated people are smarter.
The list goes on and on, all the ways we stay distant or separate. A good therapist isn't someone who has resolved all these feelings, she is someone who acknowledges them.

Largely humorous of sheep behavior, biology, husbandry and breeds (the merino and hebridean are present, among others).

Using the perspective of the flock, Swann makes comedic jabs at humans.

Don't love how many times he says, I can't believe you are still reading this. Thank you. We all agree, it makes it harder to read- stay in the book when he keeps saying it.

Also don't like how it is written like a screen play.

Otherwise.... 9/10.

I LOVE Delia Ephron. I fell in love with her writing when read, Sister, Mother, Husband, Dog: Ect.
Her parents were Phoebe and Henry Ephron- both screenwriters and play writes.
This is her Memoir- her story at a second chance at life after her husband dies, she falls in love again.
After her dog dies, she finds out she has the same kind of cancer her sister and BFF died of.
Looking to read all of her books.
