You know the book could be better when it's making me want to go finish my own writing lol

for being a feminist take on the witcher this is the first fantasy book with a warrior female lead where i have to see a man accuse her of being unreasonable because she's on her period. Like, please, let me read escapism lesbian romance fantasy without having to face sexism in it too

I'm so in love with this book, this is such a surprise

I'll admit that going back and rereading most of the beginning did help me finally make sense of what is going on (I hope), but I still think this is written in an incredibly choppy way for some reason

I'm sorry but this is already abysmal, there are parts where I have no idea what emotion is trying to be conveyed and I can only assume that "awkward" and "slightly confusing" wasn't the intent
