Borrowed from a friend— so far it’s kinda seeming like this could’ve just been someone’s class film project, you know? Like I already have the sense that the point of the book has been made but there’s still SO MUCH BOOK LEFT lol

Charming! I’ve only read one other book from an elderly POV and was also charmed by it. Admittedly probably wouldn’t have picked this up if it wasn’t wildly popular but at this point I’ve got to finish it to see what all the hype is about

Ok liking this but the only eye roll cringe trope is the “won’t admit they love eachother/‘accidentally’ saying I love you” like you’re clearly dating you’re on an international trip together it’s pretty unrealistic that they wouldn’t acknowledge they’re obviously in love
