This book feels like a punch in a gut. To take on topic so difficult and present in such an empathetic way is an achievement. Author Banu Mushtaq keeps one on the edge with stories so varied and still glued with a common theme of location, gender, religion,caste and status. This is important work and grateful that she chose to do this.
