i know how important each detail is in folktales and myths; it doesn't make them any easier to read though.

Time to give this a try. It's such a pretty little book and my sister gave it to me for Christmas so I should buckle down and do it.

i don't know if I'll be able to finish this one. The print in the book is hard for me to read, it seems very small and thin....

I know the movie well enough, so that I'm having fun comparing the dialogue between that and the book.

I promised my sister that I'd read it...

Just finished the Peter Pan chapter, strange, in light of personal circumstances. Synchronicity... you just have to laugh, sometimes.

The life in bright bloom;

Okay, I get what this is about now. My own pleasant memory - the nice guy at the Alexandria bookstore who told me not to worry about it when I was rooting about to find the 13 cents i still owed for the book.

I haven't really started it yet, It's more a time-and-place purchase, a souvenir of particular time in spring.

Yeah it's fun. It's keeping me engaged. :)

Because yeah, sure, why not? I could use a fun light read right now, and I had my B&N gift card to use up.
