I was mostly digging it up until now, but now I'm mostly just lolling at the terrible, terrible dialogue.

A lot of people seem to really hate this and complain that it's nothing but wall-to-wall smut. It's been a while since I had a good hate-read, and it's been a while since I read anything terribly smutty. Bring it.

This seems to get pretty shite reviews, why not?

Chapter 45 was a let down smut-wise. Also, I'm getting sick of this I hate him but I'm so attracted to him BS. I hate that trope.

I wasn't going to give this one a chance because I'm really not into bugs, but one of the reviews won me over. Still, I refuse to read the spider one.. Are we so desperate for monsters? What's next, the silverfishman?

CM Nascosta has yet to seriously disappoint me. I'd really like to get out of this reading slump.

I started this many moons ago. I stopped at 88%. I was just going to continue reading it, but then my brain was like ew no thx. We're right on the precipice of a sexy bit, and I'm so very meh.

I realize only now that I have already read book 2.. They seem to be standing alone relatively well

And so we begin another book about a woman entering some kind of elimination challenge with the goal to win a wish. This better not suck because the last one sort of sucked.

I'm still sitting at 22% and I can no longer remember what happened in that 22% aside from the fact that it was shite enough that I started reading something else. I hate not finishing netgalley arcs :|

Insidious is used 21 times in this fucking book.

Omfg is this guy ever going to pull his head out of his ass? Everyone here acts like an imbecilic child. I've read like 370 pages of a chick meditating and being treated like shit while the same idiots all act like she's some kind of maniac villain even though she doesn't look like or act like any of the witches who have destroyed their lands. Like seriously, they act like petulant little assholes. I hate everyone.

Irritating plot catalyst... Why would this bitch steal this shit that there's no way she can sell, something which could easily get her arrested or killed, and then hand that over to her useless idiot completely irresponsible brother who unsurprisingly fucks off with it and gets caught.

This chick is an idiot, and all her teachers were idiots, and why was her mother so busy training her when she literally didn't train her at all...
