After reading plenty of books in ADHD and autism at this point, I was surprised by how quickly I felt seen and validated at the beginning of this book. The author is very frank about her experience and perceived “failures” and frames them well within the neurodiversity paradigm, and it builds a bridge for me to want to continue listening and try out the ADHD tools forthcoming in the book.
