For being s third of the way in, I don’t feel like much has happened besides them agreeing to work together and a potential interview. There’s LOTS of internal dialogue. Maybe it will pick up…

“Still.” I nodded in confirmation. “Like, a crazy fucking amount.”

I believe that life will work out the way it needs to. If everything that happens is just a result of chance and there’s no rhyme or reason to any of it, that’s just too chaotic for me to handle. I’d go around questioning every decision I’ve ever made. If our fate is determined with every step we take . . . it’s too exhausting. I’d prefer to believe that things happen as they are meant to happen.

I love anything this woman writes. Enjoying the two storylines. Really gets you thinking about fate, how the choices we make result in the events that end up defining our lives. How sometimes the shitty things are the things that shape us for the better…
