Sort of abandoned this app last year, but I’m back!

So far, I like how the novel unabashedly introduces Zetian as a morally gray main character from the get-go.

Just started. Wonderful writing so far.

It's almost scary how similar Delhi (at least the one described in the beginning of Chapter 3) is to Jakarta. Just shows how similar the world is. And that the world is not getting better. How come it's not ending yet?

Nggak bisa nggak tersenyum sendiri ketika melihat judul film tahun 1980an dari Filipina, "Macho Dancer," disebut di novel ini. Beberapa saat yang lalu saya baru membaca tentang film tersebut karena saya harus menulis artikel tentang penari Eisa Jocson dan performance "Macho Dance"-nya. Hanya kebetulan atau ada supernatural intervention? Jeng jeng!

Sepertinya untuk "Update Progress" di Goodreads atau menjawab pertanyaan "Sudah sampai mana?" akan mustahil, ya 😅

The story definitely gets more and more interesting after Part 2 starts!

I know I'm probably going to remember their names later on, but I wish the author had stuck with one nickname per character.

When will I finish this book?
