Struggling through, not enjoying the writing style and the story is so disjointed it’s a chore to persevere

How can a story with so much going for it be so boring?

I just can’t do it anymore. This book is nothing like the others in the series and is so bad that I’m not sure Scott Turow even wrote it. I’m giving up, can’t torture myself any more.

If David Baldacci wrote this book I’ll eat my hat. There is nothing about this writing that even vaguely resembles Baldacci and half way through the book I’m not sure I can stomach another page of this crap!

Loving how JK takes a swipe at the trolls through her new book. Why bother with responding directly when you’re a brilliant author who can highlight the pathology of keyboard warriors through your works. Maybe the trolls should try reading her books.

How many adjectives can you fit into one sentence?

I love books about books. I love books about libraries. But this book is a real struggle. Not sure this is a popular opinion but I’m finding the writing very juvenile, the characters stereotypical and the story tedious. Can’t understand how this book has made the finals of best of 2021.
