what the hell is going on here on this day???

1. the dialogue in this book is really weird — almost robot-like??
2. the 4 main characters are women but somehow i could tell the writter was a man without checking. Don't even know why, exactly
3. ....buuut the premise is really interesting so I have decided to keep going for now. But the dialogue really is strange...

fuck.

it feels really symbolic to me how, terrified os failure and obsessed with succeeding, Alice loves climbing and is scared of swimming... Always going up, never down...

i missed being invested in a book...
this is really nice, just wish I had more time to read!

they have such and interesting dynamic....
