Aww this is sooo cute

This is surprisingly good!

I've been trying to read some fantasy books for the past few days and I can't even reach more than 50 pages. I was having a mild case of reading slump and I don't know why but historical romances are always my cure. This is my second book that I've read from Julie Garwood, the first one I did not find pleasing. Hopefully, this one will. I'm already more than halfway and I find this as a lighthearted and amusing read.

I like Mr Quincy. And Witchwood manor is definitely intriguing.

I think the writing style is not my cup of tea. It's okay but I don't know..it's not what I would refer to as good writing. The narration and the dialogues feel too modern.

Hmm. I don't trust Vincent.

I bought this book just this morning. I was planning to buy The Midnight Bargain but there was no available copy at the bookstore I went to. Hope this is good because it's a bit more expensive than most books.

I've set aside reading Golden Kamuy. I'll get back to it later when I'm in the mood. This book seems like a good palette cleanser.

After finishing Volume 12, I needed a break because it was just so weird and disturbing. It's incredibly graphic in terms of violence which I don't mind, but its display of some of the characters' fetishes is really disturbing that I'm so close to dropping this but I'm still curious about the main plot, so let's just see if I can still take all these weirdness. I'm also not a fan of the art style.

I'm actually at Volume 11, Chapter 108, but I will review this manga as a whole and not per volume, so I'll will not be adding the other volumes. This is actually very unique. I'm very unfamiliar with the setting. I like Asirpa and Sugimoto. I could say that some may find it hard to dive into this outright because of the unfamiliar setting and there were a lot of info dumps regarding the Ainu culture.

I'm re-reading this after almost a decade. It has been so long since I've read this that it felt like I'm reading this for the first time. Honestly, I remember loving this book but I can't remember anything about it. There are some scenes that I think would not pass today's standards. And I'm uncomfortable about the huge age gap. The dialouges are really well written.

This is unexpectedly good! It has an outrageous plot, but it's executed well. Very interesting so far!

I don't know where the story is going. I have zero knowlege on Irish history so I have nothing to compare it to. Some parts are boring, but some parts are also interesting.

I don't get it. With Ayt Mada as the Pillar of The Mountain and Shae as Weatherman of No Peak, why the prejudice against women? Why can't Jaya be considered to be trained as Pillar? hmmm

I couldn't help but think that SN1 is like AI. That kind that produce art with just a few prompts, while artists took years of practice and effort to develop such skill. Hmm.
