Considering this is akin to a Shakespearean Comedy of Errors, I'm surprised Garron's admitting it!

Great! In some ways the ending wasn't as solid as the last one... but the rest of the novel packed so much of a punch, and it makes sense so I'm okay with that. Another enjoyable read. I'm mostly only sad it's over and that I have to wait for the next one.

I'm almost done... I wish I weren't. I don't want it to stop. It's so good. I'm going to have to read them both again when Day 3 finally comes out. Such a fantastically written story!

Page 16, and Rothfuss is already pulling at my heartstrings again. I thought I might cry... but I'm in a S'bucks. Quite the accomplishment, Patrick. I commend you.

Oh that pains me - in such a beautiful way!

A bit of a weird, somewhat anti-climactic ending. But that's forgiveable knowing there are more books yet to come in the series. I'm not a huge fan of the way it ended, however HOW it ended did make sense, feeling like appropriate consequences occurred for bad decisions made earlier by the characters. And I loved Elizabeth at the end. :) Her personality there especially felt reminiscent of a friend of mine.

Oh, I was wrong! I'm glad I was wrong about that. But wait... now I'm confused about something else... I'm at a bit of an advantage over the other people in my book club... However that may also be the source of my confusion, as I've been making grand assumptions (and giggling about them) from the beginning. Either way, better than Robert Jordan! :) And I do mean that, and will explain upon asking.

That prologue is nice. But unfortunately for me, the story doesn't seem to continue from there, in true Robert Jordan fashion.

Finally. Meh.

Even this far along, past a faux-climax and a second confrontation that should have felt more like a climax than it did, I'm still not particularly interested. I did have a good laugh at one thing in one scene. It was such a minor thing, though, and the scene was over quickly.

<spoiler>"Greg forgot about physics sometimes."</spoiler> I love lines like that. The book is interesting enough, so far. Also I'm finding it reminiscent of the first Weather Warden book. I'm just waiting for her to get blamed.

Very interesting read so far. I'm finding myself continually inspired to create different aspects of Sci-fi devices for my fiction. :) I keep bookmarking every few pages for that end.

I am now reminded of the Cow in The Restaurant at the End of the Universe.

Is it sad that this bit reminds me of Twilight/Breaking Dawn? I had a chuckle, though.

This is pretty much only starting to get interesting to me. Naha's appearance with T'vril's terror and the chase were the first thing I cared about. I don't feel like Yeine is a character yet. I think I like Sieh. *shrugs* I still don't enjoy the way the story is being told yet. :/
