The conversation between Miinaa and the Irish mother seems unrealistic. Would this Irish woman have really understood the Aboriginal perspective? Often this understanding only comes decades later

I’m finding it hard to connect because I cannot visualise the setting, the places and the context. I have huge gaps in my contextual knowledge. I would love to visit this part of the world, but it’s just never safe to do so …. I will have to draw a map and expand my knowledge of the region via books and documentaries.
