This has gotten significantly worse in the second half. There are a lot of contradictions in the way the technology and the world building is set up, characters reactions are too extreme in one way and the other: way too dramatized for something that isn't actually that big of a deal, or way too subdued for something that is actually quite dangerous. Very bizarre mechanics in the plot that really just don't work

Hmmmm. I am enjoying the ride but there seems to be some editing mistakes - repetition of exposition, things that characters already know but react to again, etc
