First read in 2003. Actually created an office book club from this series. Borrowed from library and shared with one co-worker, who shared with another, until we had a group that ate lunch together and conversated about each book every day. Others overhearing our conversations, wanted to join and it just grew. Granted the series took a turn, but in the beginning I remember how good it was and thought I'd start over.
