The plot thickens

I'm suspicious after reading the light of the Jedi, no promises for any characters making it through this book.

Porter Engle is awesome, that is all.

Interesting concepts, not quite a redemption of some characters but you get to see what makes them tick. Good use of villans.

This is pretty much "basic" superman tale but written by the director of the 1978 film. And it shows in many well balanced moments where we see kindness, compassion and power combined (also featuring General Zod). The 2nd story is written by Geoff Johns who is a pretty solid writer a Brainiac Vs Superman story.

There is a continuing Doctor Who dynamic in this series and it mostly about The silver surfer relationship with Dawn Greenwood so if you are expecting cosmic superheroics I'd temper my expectations.

I'm going to pace myself with this 📖 I think I will read about 38 pages a day give or take.

I'm trying to get back to this series it's taking a minute.

I like it (better than the film) to be honest.

So this started as an Alpha flight/X-Men team up to "rescue" an X -man from a mysterious magical place, but now that they know who they are up against(see cover) they realize what steps to succeed however this cross over has only begun...

I like this book, that being said this book is making me remember the team line up and circumstances at this time in the X-Men series. Storm was the leader but took a break leaving Kurt with the Job temporarily, Cyclops was leader but lost the position in a duel with storm (that being said) he gets to try to have a some what normal life as a pilot and gets pulled into this thing. And Rachel was Phoenix.
