It’s been twenty five plus years since I met Mma Ramotswe, and I’ve read almost every installment of her story. I decided it was time to go back down memory lane and re-read #1.

I’ve been spending a lot of time in WW I and II Europe and England lately. So far, being on Little Crescent Island quite a few decades later has been delightful.

Thoroughly enjoyed this book-the characters, the way the story just unfolded, the laughs, the thoughtful treatment of some serious situations. This is one I’ll recommend to others.

Book eleven in the series, and Flavia’s been a favorite of mine since #1. This one includes the usual murder, but also lots more for Flavia to consider!

Lisa See leaves no stone unturned when she decides to write a novel! I’ve read almost all of her books. -not sure why I waited a couple of years before tackling this one. What a story!

I loved everything about this book. The description on Goodreads is spot on, and much better than any review I could write. Check it out, and then put it on your TBR list.

Just a caveat to my five star rating of this book. I’ve read 60+ books by this author and have loved each one. 🙃🙂

This has to be the first book I’ve ever read with an eleven page chapter consisting of two sentences. -and the first one is eight words long. Kinda cool!

Thanks to my dear daughter (and hubby and daughters) who knows what I need to read before I even know it exists! I’m going to savor this one!

This book was written and published by a friend of a dear friend who gave a copy to me. I’ve been reading the essays pretty much daily, and since I received it mid-year, I’ve been going back and catching up as well. The author had always wanted to write a book. How cool that she’s done it!

I love shopping at Bookman Used Books in Colorado Springs. Once a year when I’m there, I pick up a book or two I might not otherwise read. This is one of this year’s finds.
