man... i haven't picked this book up since the beginning of the year and i kind of have no desire to, so i looked at the good reviews to inspire me to keep reading. that... had the entirely opposite desired effect. this makes me sad because lynn painter signed this book. i'll keep it for now but... dnf

i was up until 5am reading this. if you had told me i would enjoy a book about battle and war strategy i would've told you you were an idiot.
